The Red Panda is a plant eater and it is a mammal.  It is a little bit bigger than normal cat. It is very cute.  It looks a bit like Raccoon because it is in raccoon and bear families.  The Red Panda lives in Himalayas in Nepal and southern China.  The word panda has another name called "ponya".  It means bamboo and plants eating animal in Nepal.  The Red Panda has thick fur to protect itself from cold winter.  The Red Panda has nearly gone.
